Is Leadership Inborn, or Trained in Early Years?

The authors of my current Master's textbook, Tolbert and Hall (2009), explained that there are the “big five” personality characteristics that are commonly associated with leadership.

They are

“1. 'Surgency' (or extraversion)

Hi Dave, it's been a while since I came here. I almost forgot the name of my username! lol. Good thing I found it through my other LJ. Thanks for still keeping me. I thought I'd drop by.

I have one thing to add about leadership: Spiritually, all five characteristics can be attained later on. Anytime. God can re-create us completely from inside out.

I'm interested in this stuff, too. Child education and the like.

By the way, I read again in your profile that you're INTJ. I remember from when I read over the personality types, that I'm..er, have to check..but it was favourably associated with INTJ. You might be a kindred spirit.

Hi! I agree -- God kinda breaks all norms and bounds. :)

Lol, obviously I don't get on here a lot anymore either.
Remind me again of your name and how we connected. I've been away from LJ too long - sorry!
And Happy Thanksgiving. :)
