I've wanted to write a Doo wop song since before Vera, and i've been messing around with a chord progression for a while now. It kept coming out sounding too much like Earth Angel, but I've passed that and i'm pretty pleased with it. I went to gamestop to pre order call of duty modern warfare 2, and while I was there I asked the guy if there was a cheaper alternative to the 50 dollar keyboard attachment to the ps3 controller. Halloween is always bitter sweet, and i'm never sure why. Granted, unlike the last two halloweens of my life, I have plans. Not only do I have plans, but I have plans before as well.  Saw a video of us performing Verona at the Manette show last night....it actually sounded a LOT better than I thought it did as we were playing it. I think my only problem with it was placing it in between two fun upbeat songs.  Book Fair = Win. I bought I think like 10 books i've never read, so i'll have to get to cracking.

I went to the Kinkos and printed out some flyers to take to the Manette, but they're closed Sunday/Monday...I wish I would've known that before I drove out there, but whatever. It wasn't a lost trip because me and Kat went minature golfing.

It's all looking uphill actually. Every week i'm losing 2-5 pounds, I'm reconnecting with old friends, listening/playing some good tunes, and just enjoying life.
