Officially, we were missed.
We experienced some strong straight winds, but that was all.

I just got home an hour ago from a business trip and then vacation to visit folks. I'm rapidly doing laundry so that I can pack and head back out on another business trip.

I leave in less than 4 hours.

I like keeping up with friends, and I read their journals because I want to know what is going on with their lives. And if they bring up a topic that I don't want to know, I don't blame them, I just sorta skip it and continue on my way ( Read more... )

Well, a year has gone by, and zombie dog is doing well.

Here she is napping on top of a stuffed dog. She healed up well, gets around fine and in general seems much more comfortable.

Okay, my car needed front wheel bearings. And I knew this, so I was being really conservative about driving it. But about 4 months ago, I thought I heard the engine knocking and maybe an oil leak, so I parked it. Since then, I've paid off my truck.
