What was the original plan for posting? I have to admit I'm curious.

I can accept that you're having technical and organizational difficulties. However I find it rather insulting that you consider posting twice in two days something that will 'make up for that' when it's already 18 days into the original fest and there have only been 3 posts. An apology and a promise to post again tomorrow if at all possible would have been much nicer than a comment that leaves me feeling as if you think you're doing us a great favor by posting two days in a row.

I'm aware that this is post is negative. I'm not going to assume that everyone feels the way I do. Nor do I think that you owe me anything. It's your exchange and you may run it, or not run it, as you see fit. I simply wanted you to know how I felt reading this.

The original plan for posting, as mentioned in an earlier post, was roughly to post a story every other day.

And while I respect your opinion, it was never stated that there were technical or organizational difficulties. This is a rather small exchange; fourteen participants, some of which dropped out, and some required extra time to finish their assignments. So yes, there have only been three stories posted, but I hope that you can understand that the schedule we've put in place for posting is the best option we can manage with what we've been offered. If you feel insulted because we're posting a story one day early, I'm sorry, but I can assure you we don't think we're doing you a great favor, as you so kindly put

I believe you're missing my point.

Yes, there are organizational difficulties.
If you run an exchange and post a schedule in your profile, then fail to meet that schedule, have issues arranging for or locating pinch-hitters in a timely manner, then you have organizational difficulties. It doesn't mean you aren't doing the best you can, but you are having problems organizing and delivering based on what people signed up for. Some of that is beyond your control, but not all of it.

I don't expect you change anything for me or others. It's apparent that you don't feel you owe anyone anything other than continued excuses and posts that give me the impression that you're sitting there thinking if we don't like it, we can lump it. And while that is true, what that isn't is good moderation

I did, and I'm sorry about that. I thought you were referring to the past few days in which no stories were posted, with the organizational difficulties
