Wow that was intense. Our relay race was fun, but I don't think I've ever been so tired and sore before in my life. The basic format of the race was teams of 10 running across the state with 3 support vehicles. My job this summer has turned out pretty awesome. I like what I do, and the hours are short. Almost too short really, once again there's not a lot to do, and we keep asking for stuff to do. But since they don't always have things for us, and no one is monitoring our hours, we can leave whenever we finish everything. Basically I've been working ( Read more... )

It doesn't quite feel right being here during the summer. I'm at school, and in Evanston, but yet its so different. There's not people everywhere, it feels so empty. Yesterday, after a late Friday and getting to bed at about 3:30, I heard my door buzzer at about noon. I slowly got up and trudged over to the buzzer and asked who it was.
