EMS Transportation?!

Remember the kidney stone incident a few weeks ago?
Well, I got an EMS Transportation bill.
It's $475.00!!!
Just to take me to the nearest hospital.
O_O;
Don't worry. My insurance should cover it.

But wow!
If I timed it right, I could have rented a limo to take me to the hospital.

Yowzers. Hospital bills suck big dong. I went to the emergency room the day after my wreck and the deposit was like 175$ to tell me I had a big bruise on my leg and muscle aches. -_-" Don't know the total cost, but at least insurance paid it.

Yeah, sucks, doesn't it!

Trotfox got HIMSELF to the hospital, and once there, was told the injury was so severe he had to be taken to a different hospital, and the ride from one hospital to the next was $160 *after* our insurance company paid for 90% of it!

Damn, having health insurance must be nice. I desperately need to see a dentist, but I can't until I have a couple paychecks I'm not really doing anything with. Which means I'm pulling those fuckers out myself. With a leatherman tool. With Everclear as sterilizing solution/anaesthetic. Don't mistake this DIY dentistry for machismo. I'm gonna cry like a little bitch. But food and rent and the like are more important to me than proper dental health.
