So he arranged for the apartment of one Misa Aname to be bugged and had cameras installed and then, after discerning which one was her favorite, he sent in a thief to steal her pen. Unlike the functional pen from Mikami and the fancy one from Higuchi hers was a pink monstrosity. Before Near had the cameras removed again it was fun watching her search for a pen that wasn´t there

Near regularly had nightmares of a pink pen writing down commands in a flowery script and cutting into his flesh with his sharp point if he did not follow the orders. More often than not he awoke after being reduced to a bleeding mess on the floor

Well, it wasn´t really a prompt but something that I had to get out of my system (as I´m one of the anons in the discussion). And I tohought that it fit into the Meme.

Pen-porn loves you. Your ideas were really interesting (this one and the Mikami one, especially) but I never expected you to actually do this. Jjghgjhaf, awesome. ;^; Is it strange that I can totally picture Near developing this sort of bizarre, unhealthy fixation with the Kiras' pens? No, of course it isn't, I like porn involving pens, we have established this. But anyway, bravo.

Now I must go and stare at my usual pen and curse the fact that I seriously doubt I can use it in public any more. XD

When in DRRR has a pen a special meaning? Naturally you always can use a pen in lemons, but I thought that only in the DN-Universe it also held the deliscious double meaning of quasi being part of the plot.

Izaya has his knife, Shizuo his freaky strength, Celty her shadow, Anri the katana, Kiba his gang etc... Did I miss the pen? Or is it something that is not yet shown in the anime???

Well, regardless, now I´ll have to look for pen-porn in the DRRR-verse... :)

That was... really cool. It totally fits with Near's slightly weird personality, and I love that he never quite got what he wanted. And I liked the way the SPK members were written too.

Yep, Near is a weirdo. That´s his charme. I thought it fitt him to form an obsession, as he already is "slightly" obsessed with L and his toys.
