O= I have to ask, is there any reason why Anon only refers to Soichirou as 'The Chief'? =3 I like eet. It definitely adds something.

Not the anon!writer, I'm actually the OP, but I like it too. It makes Soichiro seemingly untouchable. If I can say, Soichiro/Matsuda, from Matsuda's perspective, is Light/Mikami. Matsuda, like Mikami, would kill for a chance to be with his god, but thinks himself unworthy, and will settle for watching his god.

This isn't really helping my Soichiro-is-a-Time-Lord theory, but there you go.
