There’s always a certain amount of heat, of passion, involved in Light’s judgment. It’s hard not to be passionate when you’re working on becoming a God, after all. But this day, the passion and heat are worse than usual, and he can feel his blood run hot as he begins to become aroused.

He’s not certain why, at first. Maybe it’s the memories of the night before -
