Looking up, he saw that the chain had been slipped between two of the slats of the headboard, limiting his movement

While I wasn't quite squicked when I read the request, I didn't necessarily think it sounded super-appealing, either. But I clicked on it anyway because like I said, I wasn't actually squicked, and I thought that it could be really interesting if written well. Much to my surprise, I've found myself thinking this is hot. XDDD Who knew? Thank you, anon, for writing this! Horizons broadened and all that.

I was right about the interest aspect, as well -- you depicted Soichiro as conflicted, and intelligent, which I think is very canon but which many fanfic authors don't really have the patience to do. And Light is brilliantly complex and subtly unhinged and, frankly, over Soichiro's head.

The last sentence is a brilliant switch as well. I went from being almost convinced that Light had gotten carried away -- it must have had something to do with how well you drew me into Soichiro's PoV -- to thinking, "Light, you bastard -_-".

Normally I'd be totally squicked but you pulled this off in such a creepy canon way!! Bravo!!

Your Light is so... crazy but still so very sane...the manipulation is breath taking!

This was a good read. Wish there were more incest fics (that, while I like a believable story, had penetration may I add?).
