Having Mello and Near in L masks was a brilliant move, as was L's tactic of describing his own death. So disturbing and ironically appropriate. I love the way Mello behaves towards Near throughout. And the L/Mello in there made me a happy, happy fangirl.

Maybe the best thing in the writing was how you wrote about the affections without exeggerating them or making them seem unrealistic, and of course you kept Kira's real character... what more could we ask? :)
