Their every meeting starts like this. Naomi sighs, slumps a little further in her chair.
"Hello to you too."
"You're the murderess." Sayu Yagami spits through the phone. Naomi, apparently, can be ignored. "I don't even know why I'm talking to you."
Oh, but she does... "Of course not."
She slouches now. There is no need for impressions when you're an FBI agent-turned-killer, after all (even if the FBI does approve). It's ironic, really, because Sayu's back seems to get straighter with their every meeting. Perhaps with her brother gone, she sees herself as the one to uphold his standards.
So long as no Death Notes enter into the equation, Naomi is fine with that.
"How has your week been?"
"Oh, nothing unusual. School, part-time job, my brother's funeral..." A glare accompanies the last bit- as if she expects Naomi to be remorseful
