Since you (and Brookesmith.net) are keeping this Brooke Smith Film Festival going, I have to ask if you've seen Shooting Vegetarians or The Moderns? What did you think? Both looked interesting.
I liked Kansas City better than Melinda and Melinda, but maybe because the music in KC was so good.

No, I haven't seen neither "Shooting Vegetarians", nor "The Moderns". Are they worth a buy? :-)

P.S. Haha, "The Moderns" is another BS movie that has Wallace Shawn in it... do I smell some sort of favoritism? *g*

Haven't seen the Moderns or Shooting Vegetarians but it looks like my local video store has the Moderns so I'll probably give it a look. I love Wallace Shawn so all of this has been fun for me.

After reading the plot summary, I've ordered "The Moderns" from Amazon.com.

"Shooting Vegetarians" is available even on the European market, but the plot sounds a bit, uhm, weird. ;-)
