21 years ago I was contemplating the new life that I had just given birth to... or at least I was understanding that the life I had known for the last seven years of adulthood was about to change.

Sometimes, it occurs to me that soul searching is not good for the soul at all. Soul Searching can lead one to places that are often uncomfortable. It oftern teaches one how very little they know, how very little they understand, and how very little control one actually has over many of the situations of life.

Such was my road last night.

One would like to think that the hurricane related issues are over and life is back to normal on this little island, but it's not. The wounds continue to show and to fester.
