02.04.13 fanfic savings
I download favorite fanfics just in case they disappear INTO THE ETHER and/or I forget to bookmark them and can't find them when I want to reread them. This means I have a LOT of fanfic saved into my fanfic folder, and it's kinda interesting seeing all the different fandoms I have fic for. 02.01.13 a new start
Have been reading my old LiveJournal entries (I downloaded them before deleting them) and WOAH was I annoying. Way too many emoticons, "jokes" that aren't funny, way too much capslock, etc. It's totally cringe-y, but at the same time I'm glad I kept a journal and interacted with people online and whatnot. Can I just say? Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows was AMAZING. Yes, there were problems. But nothing's perfect and it was so much fun and I am basically screaming with joy over here. Coherency? 011. happy thanksgiving!
To everyone in the US. I've eaten all my turkey and shoveled in a few pounds of pie, so I'm perfectly set to watch more Doctor Who stuff (and maybe rewatch Sherlock again).
Since after the Christmas episode we won't have any more DW for at least a year (or more?), I think I'm going to spend my time watching the old school DW series. I've actually ( Read more... ) -
010. doctor whoooooS
Somehow I got stuck on Doctor Who again-- I think because of the possible Doctor Who movie rumors or something. I still haven't seen all of 10th Doc's episodes, so I'm going through those now. His first season is...ugh. There's some good stuff in it, but I really can't stand how smug he and Rose are. And they're also kind of...callous, I think? ( Read more... ) -
009. rewatching
I've been rewatching all the Granada Sherlock Holmes episodes again, even though I've seen them all at least five times each already. My favorite ever is The Blue Carbuncle, but The Six Napoleons (which I've just finished) is really good, too. The best bits about the Granada episodes are, I think, when Holmes and Watson sort of giggle at each other ( Read more... ) -
