I've been getting e-mails from a person that I met through a recovery group here on LiveJournal. I eventually had to block all posts from this person and remove this person from my friends list.

Why you might ask?

Lemme tell you.

It's also not a matter of "keeping an open mind."

Peterson and Seligman define "open-mindedness" as "Thinking things through and examining them from all sides; not jumping to conclusions; being able to change one's mind in light of evidence; weighing all evidence fairly."

To reject views you disagree with - after giving those views a fair hearing - is NOT close-mindedness. Many people forget that.

I think it's good you take soem space from him too.
It's hard when someone "drunk dials" and there's no need to talk to the bottle.
I'm Jules btw...37 yr old, almost 11 yrs in AA and a social worker that specializes in addiction, adolescent social work/dual diagnosis.
