A Chelsea kind of day ...
N, being a Chelsea fan, will be watching the big match tonight. I'll probably watch bits of it too, if only to see if they show any clips of Moscow. I was there in 1993, 14 months after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and I bet it's changed beyond all recognition (superficially at least).

I met up with E in London on Saturday. It was a great afternoon, but a little weird - I came away thinking that was probably the last time in a long time that I’ll go to London and just be able pootle round aimlessly and not worry about being at home in time to put dodo jr to bed or whatever.

B&Q Blues
A long time ago, N and I noticed that we would feel fed up after a visit to B&Q. We’d pop in quickly for something innocuous like light bulbs or a packet of seeds, then have a quick wander round to look at fitted kitchens or shelving, just to get ideas.
