I spent four nights in New York back at school visiting. Relationships unchanged for me but for no one else, academia rule. Nice to hang for a few days, but I was anxious to return, and the whole time was a stoned or drunk whatever, after so long serious. I get so frustrated whenever I introduce any sort of storyline into this journal - most of the time, I'd rather not write the ending when it ends. I think that might be an issue whenever I keep a paper journal, as well. But here, I feel less, what, credible? worthy? when I fail to finish what I started.

I didn't cry, but Jill and I sat outside at the cafe for awhile and watched the world go by, then took a beautiful drive through Tuftonboro and Ossipee. Later I fell asleep on the windowseat at seven and didn't get up till eight this morning. And I feel much better.
