Just a normal, lazy Thursday afternoon.

I walked to the cop shop a few blocks away to get packing boxes. Nothing exciting.

When I return to my front steps, there's a sticky note on the front door of my building that looks like one of the notes UPS leaves when they try to leave a package. I examine it a little more closely....

I don't understand how I do so many things wrong when I think I'm doing them right. It's not fair when people you love and who have been a big part of your life die before either of you are ready. Of course, I am never ready for death and fear and despise it, but Ann was not ready.
