It has a whole new meaning for me. She widdled in the house a couple of times yesterday and I had my mop on standby. When I came to use it this morning I found the plastic sponge head had sort of melted....eeew

Got any tips for getting the stink of pet pee out of furniture? My eldest cat has started using one of the easy chairs (we think it's age, not anger. Do cats have prostate glands?)

I have a spray called Neutradol (its made by the Dettol company, if you have that brand stateside). It smells horrible to me, bu the main point is that it masks all odours so they don't keep repeating the offence because they have 'marked' the spot.

That sounds like our Pet No spray, which also smells terrible but is supposed to keep them away from the spot you've sprayed. We usually spray it around the Christmas tree to keep the cats from climbing it!
