(Cross-posted to Romancing CAI actually made it to Houston and caught up with old friends.  It was a much needed break from the road.  A fellow GTXer and his wife in southern Louisiana offered me crash space the following night; MT323 wanted to look for any other problems before I got to Gainesville

You're sweet! I couldn't expect anyone to drive 3 hours each way to have lunch with me, though!

I'll be taking I-20 back and spending the night in Abilene with my cousin. I'll be pressing on to AZ from there...on a tight schedule this trip, sadly.
