My Mother
passed away Sunday. Still not knowing how to feel. Guess once I feel I can let down I will weep, but for now there is just too much to do. -
Life is getting better
I was on my myspace page and got a friend request from a guy serving in Afganistan. Seems when he isn't doing his duty, he lives close to me. Turns out, things are looking pretty good. He seems to have his head on his shoulders and I like that.
Hoping this might turn into a long relationship, if we can just get him home. :( -
T day
Thanksgiving was better than usual it was my two friends and I that cooked up a hearty feast of turkey stuffed with veggies ol Mississippi style corn dressing two kinds of cranberry sauce a cake and pumpkin pie both made with splenda so you could stuff yourself with them and various drinks from wine to water. The 27th , I got to see one of my good friends and singers, Chuck Negron. Most know him from Three Dog night, or the songs "one", "easy to be hard" or "joy to the world".
Between shows we sat and talked catching up on what was going on with each other as much as you can in a few minutes, also got his manager to take a great photo of us.

Not much
Quiet, I guess thats good. Considering the other day Annie, the baby 2.3lb long haired Chi sampled my avacado and lime mix and went into allergy shock. One emergency vet visit and a hundred dollars later, she was out of danger, but from now on, no people food. Poor kid ( Read more... )
