For the last month, I've been trying to meet up with one of my friends to go shopping so we could both de-stress.  After being blown off again, I decided to go by myself.  I figured I'd use my giftcards and get some tea.

As promised, I have ski trip photos.  We had to meet up at 6:30am, so ednemo  and I never went to sleep.  We went to IHOP and drank lots of coffee, then came home, got ready and headed back to the bar, then headed to Massanutten.  We got our lift tickets and skis and headed out.  There were two small hillsgoing to the ski lift, so we practiced on those ( Read more... )

Back from Massanutten with no injuries!  ednemo  took pictures, so I'll probably post them tomorrow.  We had a good time, but are VERY tired.  Next time we go, we will not be leaving at 6:30am after working the night before.

My new non-spinny wheels showed up on Tuesday.  I can't put them on the car yet because I have to save up and buy some tires, but there is always Photoshop!

A few months ago I paid off my credit card. I made it through xmas w/out using it, then I saw a set of wheels for my Hamstermobiles, so I bought them. How does Hamster 2 repay me? It decides it doesn't want to start. I know I didn't want to come to work tonight since I'm getting sick, but my car doesn't need to encourage me. Now I'm hoping it ( Read more... )

Last Sunday we met Ruby, a dachshund/beagle mix from a rescue. We put in the application for her only to find out another family was interested in her. We were pissed/upset and the foster mom was pissed. This weekend was really up and down.  Rocks opened Friday night, meaning I spent all last week burning CDs for the book down there.  I wasn't sure who had what and I wanted to make sure we had certain things down there.  Plus you never know what people are going to ask for.  My Sunday night DJ was quite relieved that I had certain things in there, ( Read more... )
