We have heat!  Friday night ednemo  IM'ed me to tell me the heat pump died.  Got home, it wasn't too cold.  It was fairly warm this weekend so during the day Saturday and Sunday it was OK in here, but Saturday and Sunday night were a little chilly.  Amazingly enough Carried called us back within minutes on Saturday and came out around Noon on Sunday.  ( Read more... )

Today is Otaru's 4th b-day! He's being extra whiny, but likes his present. PetSmart sent him a coupon for his bday, so I got him a Bad Cuz. He likes it and ran around the house with it. :)

Amazing, it actually snowed today.  Puppies love snow. :)

Yesterday sucked.  REALLY sucked.

1 - Woke up to Otaru having a seizure.  He hasn't had one since January and he took longer than normal to come out of it.  Called the vet.  They said not to worry unless he had another one. Fortunatly, he was fine the rest of the day.  We had to watch him for 24 hours though, so he had to go out with me to run the ( Read more... )

I really don't have anything to report. I've actually been motivated to do stuff lately. I put away/re-organized my boxes of clothes, started working on a set of hair falls, changed my oil, broke the breather tube on the Jetta, then fixed it. Woo ( Read more... )

I've been rather annoyed and feeling a bit overwhelmed lately.  Plus I've been waking up really early.  I think part of it was I forgot to prepare myself for the extra things for Halloween.  Last week was just a weird week.  I'm glad it's over, but it's not looking like this week will be much better.  It just wasn't as fun as it was last year.  ( Read more... )

ednemo  and I have returned from Graceland!  We had a LOT of fun and got some much needed relaxation...

Day 1 - Woke up Saturday morning, showered, dressed, loaded car, got breakfast, got on the road...First stop, Mini-Graceland in Roanoke...Well, we would have if it were still there.  We couldn't find it.  We did see the giant star though...
