My divorce is final today!!!

I am officially not married! Not that it changes anything b/c in Chesterfield you're free to do what you want after the official seperation date. Plus I already changed my name back in April, so it's really not that

I managed to get next Saturday off...Not that it was hard, I just had to ask...So I'm taking a much deserved mini-vacation.  The last time I went anywhere was in June when I went to my cousin's wedding in Cape Cod, which was relaxing if I don't think about the fact that my mother decided that adjoining rooms was a good idea...or that my parents ( Read more... )

I hate it when I get paid then promptly have to pay several large bills. Stupid crappy health insurance not covering all of my surgery...*shakey fist*

I finally remembered to look up what is producing pollen this time of year. It's weeds!  Yay!  So yes, I'm allergic to pretty much everything outside...And a lot of things inside too...Lucky me!

At least I'm not allergic to animals.

We've been fairly productive this weekend.  Ordered my emergency brake cover for my car (the old one is ratty and falling apart)...Got some boxes put away...Got the living room and kitchen clean...Got some more stuff out of my old house...Probably going to get more out tomorrow.  It's nice to get things done.

Well, the cast is off and I had PT right after...I didn't know I was doing both yesterday, but they didn't do much in PT, just take measurements and give me a new brace/splint thingy.  I have another appt next week and they'll probably torture me then...Anyway, here is what it looks like now...

Well, I found someone to buy my Vespa.  I've been debating selling it for a while and since ednemo  got me Hamster 3,  I really don't have time for it anymore.  Nevermind that I'm better off on 4 wheels than 2.  Coordination has never been my one of my strengths.  Plus people can't drive around here.  It also gives me money to fix up my new toy.  ( Read more... )
