I'm still in Cannes, but I'm coming back to New York on Sunday. Besides, I have the pleasure of his company and I couldn't miss that. It has been a little busier today than normal, and I have managed to get out and about a bit. All the rest has done wonders for my skin......blah, blah, blah. I'll spare everybody.

The Cannes Film Festival is going strong and there is an immense coagulation of talent here. There is a bit of uneasiness about Cannes, it seems the local inhabitants are angry about something. francis_coppola and eleanor_coppola came into town and stayed the weekend the with me. It was so good to see them under normal circumstances that I said I wasn't cooking and I would treat them to whatever meal they wanted to devour. Tim came by the apartment this morning around nine o'clock and accompanied me to breakfast. Of course, I couldn't take him just anywhere. I took him to Cafe Mozart in the Upper East Village.
