Thanks to those of you who came to my panel last night. I had fun and actually got to NETWORK. I was also cornered by this guy who demanded I call up all the BILLIONAIRES (his emphasis) at Microsoft and gather them in a room and demand they give me money if they want film to continue. Hehe. I totally saw him come up to talk and Dom was inching back continuously until there was no place for him to go but through the curtain. You should have gone through the curtain, Dom!

Dom! You're looking at it all WRONG! You have to start with a number and work backwards! THAT'S why you haven't been able to make a movie. If you just COME UP WITH A NUMBER, you can make any movie you want, you silly boy. In Canada.

That's the one. Only he HATES Canada. And money isn't money... it's "ENERGY". He said Hollywood is going out of business and it's only a matter of time before they realize they will collapse if they don't hire more indie filmmakers from Seattle. I told him that as long as there are movies like Pirates making $200M in it's opening weekend, Hollywood as a machine will never go out of business. He didn't like that answer. He liked to point at me a lot. He had a weird way of telling me I was cool is all I can say.
