whoas...that's crazy...don't they have something better to bicker about? i mean there are animal rights and human rights. i mean also as a geneticist i must say that the whole fact that a lot of our DNA is pratically 80-90% the same as most primates (and i think other animals too...but i gotta double check) is pretty cool but the thing that varies and what makes this value slightly misleading is the fact that tho we have the same genetic make up the pattern of expression and timing of the expression changes everything. hell developmentally, chickens develop almost identically to humans up until a certain point. (and that whole outside of mommy development...but meh details lol).

anyways, i suppose i'm preaching to the choir. as i said before, those people are crazy and i'm surprised it's gone to court and hasn't been thrown out.
