John and I have tickets to the Kylie Minogue concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday October 4th, and we were wondering about affordable hotels within walking distance of the Bowl.  Any suggestions?  Places to avoid?  We are gonna come over on Saturday and head back to Palm Springs on Monday.  Anyone else going to the concert?

WOW, where did that weekend go? Friday morning I flew to San Jose for a meeting for my union. It was the final meeting of our state conference committee before our state conference which will be July 30-August 6 in Las Vegas. WOW....what a busy few weeks I've had! July 1st was my 44th Birthday, and I was asked if I could, would I go back 20 years. My answer was no, that I was having more fun and enjoying life more now than I was back then. I am in a really good place in my life right now. Man, am I glad it's Saturday! School is out now.....Thursday was the last day, so now I can go to work during the day....6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. instead of the 1 p.m. to 9:30 I usually work.
