Your pathology intrigues and fascinates me, after all this time.

I like how it looks. I haven't read all of them so I can't comment on the content.

I hope life is treating you well :)

looks really cool- can't read dialog easily.

where do you come off saying True Faith is the only "good" New Order song!? yeah they suck now, but, back in the day they were amazing! (it's rumored that they've started preforming "Joy Division" sets at concerts... and might record new music under the name "Joy Division" for the film Control...? [this is a horrible idea- I don't know what they're thinking])

Their songs are boring and have no focus - from everything I heard about New Order I assumed their music would be terribly catchy and have lyrics that are slightly bad but forgivable because they are emotionally overwrought, sentimental in an attenuated way - i.e. that they would be Depeche Mode. But instead they have seem to have the same minimal instrumentation as Joy Division but without the fanaticism to bring it all together in a harsh, compelling light. Some of their big hits avoid this problem (I guess I do like "Blue Monday" as well). Did you know that by "discuss" I apparently almost always mean "simply bring up contradictory assertions"?

Yeah, I almost can't stand to look at the comic (esp. 1st two pages) now because of how hard to read and kind of messy it is. The upcoming pages shall be done on Bristol paper and scanned at higher resolution, so a treat for the mind and the senses both is forthcoming.

no sorry, the comic looks fine in that sense of it, what I meant to say was that it's not messy, it's just posted a little too small to read easily.

when I was first struck down by the iron fist that is joy division, I started hating new order, whom I'd been listening to, though not seriously, for a few years. after hearing joy division they just seemed so superficial. however, now, I actually appreciate that they aren't so depressive- or depressive at all (yet they are, it's just not as obvious) and sometimes feel like joy division is just "laying it on too thick" in terms of their whole nihilistic doom/existentialist dread complex.

"True Faith" isn't the only good New Order song, you bitch! You were excited on multiple occasions by "Temptation", and asked what band it was multiple times, and were delighted each time to learn that it was New Order

Also, misattribution of quotes is a form of slander. I sure hope this poor, shivering, waif-like, anonymous "ho-bag" you so brutally and cruelly misrepresent with typically uncaring misogynistic bravado has a good lawyer, because you are due for some hefty emotional damages.

I got "excited" by Temptation not so much because it was "good" but because it it managed to imply that it was at some point might be about to become good for like 8 whole minutes without, in fact, being so. It addressed the complex issues of melodic and lyrical sensibility associated with the good in popular music, yet it was far, very far from being an instance of it. It was also too long by about 6 minutes. And the way the live audience just went hog-wild when the name of the song was announced, over a song that did not in any way merit this frenzy! Also, I do not know why you are concerned with the welfare of some slut, but do not worry - she has truly no shame and is probably pleased with any form of public representation.

I empathize with the bus rides, I enjoy the staggering prose (which is really more of a unique gait than a stagger, really), and Idiot Nerds Who Socially Say Ping (myself occassioned with drink included) all need to be hunted down and shot, so that's a plus.

Good stuff, needs more seeing of more.
