Bloody ground = fertile land

Page 5 of "Gnomes from Underground" is on the internet. This thing is alarmingly slow to do, what with all of my other, apparently, numerous commitments, but it will be finished. This is a story that needs to be told. Yes and some of the dialogue is still hard to read but I will improve this in future pages ( Read more... )

I'm continuing to enjoy your work. Why have I never seen any of this before, you person?

Because I, uh, essentially haven't really produced anything since end of high school or freshman year of college until now (I guess) due to nebulous emotional reasons (that is how I rationalize all of my basic failures anyway). I am so pleased that you like it! I really, really hope that it is comprehensible to those that do not already know me (a nice woman from local coffee shop still offers hope!).

As someone who knows you somewhat, I must admit my enjoyment would be assisted by, perhaps, a brief dramatis personae.

You mean like a list of all the characters? That is like a really good idea. Oh, tomorrow one shall be furnished. In the meantime - important: http://wynand.livejournal.com/439329.html (!) I apparently like Batman

Awesome. I approve of the Vermeer user icon in your collection, btw. Hey you are from Austin - how did you find me? Did I meet you in person and forget?

Thanks... I wish I could find more fine art icons, but I can't, and I can't make them for myself. Actually, I've made one - which is displayed.

As far as I know, we haven't met. I did a local search late last night and found your journal, thought it was interesting, and added you.

my dreams have, as of late, been far more interesting and vivid than my waking life. last night you were in my dream, but you appeared visually as your comic book representation self. pretty awesome. also (in a different part of the dream (i dream like a week of events every night)) anika was arranging all these drawings i had made on the wall, and i was informing her that spiderman is actually aesthetically relevant to her sensibilities... she eventually agreed.

What, how did you explain Spiderman's aesthetic relevance?

Ha. And is Conception meant to represent anyone we both know?

Also, I demand to play the role of some sort of deus ex machina. This is my demand, and I am posting it, albeit under the influence of several beers.

Hey, this is wynand. Why is there no link to my comic on your website? Why? I mean really, why?

Why?

Which one, the one I haven't touched in years or the one devoted to my voiceover career?

Also, you are allowed to add me as a "friend" on livejournal, what with my having already done so, jerktoast.
