So the assignment, mentioned in an earlier post, for which it was necessary to render Batman -- the assignment was to draw 50 people who have influenced you. This took a damned long time. Hopefully this will be part of some trash-culture trend, where we start seeing Batman replace Jesus and Elvis on things like 'velvet paintings of' and 'winking portraits of' and 'statues on our car dashes' and 'random sightings of'.

There was already that thing about Batman scaling Buckingham Palace (or something--I don't remember anything anymore.) Clearly this is one of the defining moments of the new zeitgeist, the paradigm shift of our very semiotic realities.
