1. Week after week of increasingly bad illnesses. Every time I got sick, it felt like a standard viral bug of some sort - congestion, fatigue, headache, etc etc. It would go away, and stay away for a few days, and then come right back

I'm not the biggest fan of conventional medicine either, but it does seem to have its place. Its got great diagnostic tools, and there are those times when something like a massive antibiotic is needed. Glad you had the opportunity to get a hold of something that will help.

Me too. I don't think it would have been very pleasant if it was left untreated.

Entrenched sinus infections can need vicious amounts of antibiotics because really a lot of blood doesn't get circulated around your sinus cavities. I had one for months once and it kept setting off my asthma and that lowered my immune system and yah, ick, vicious circle.

Here's hoping that your sinus infection goes away soon and that you get to feeling more like you again.

Hey, if this is what it took to finally get you the help needed, then I'm OK with how sick I've been lately. (Not thrilled, but OK). I really hope this helps out. If nothing else, it does make a fair amount of sense.

Yeah, antibiotics do have their place, as do the more traditional/herbal remedies. The interesting part is knowing when to use which one.

Yeah. I don't think this is going to make me stop using garlic/oregano oil/master tonic/etc in lieu of seeing a doctor, but it definitely puts me on notice to pay more attention to what's going on.

Sorry to hear you are sick. These infections are so sneaky. I discovered, after nights of sleeplessness, hair loss, and general irritability, that....I wasn't getting enough oxygen!!!Apparently, I had been getting less and less gradually so that it was scarcely noticeable -- by my awareness, my poor body was doing everything it could to tell me. I've got an inhaler, but...I don't like to use it.

Oh well, I guess walking into doors and walls as I zoombie out is preferable. I don't like medication, but I like the way I felt even less.

Are the anitibiotics working? Hope so. Take care.

It's amazing how bad stuff can build up when you're not paying attention.

I think the antibiotics are working... unfortunately I think I've caught apostate's viral bronchitis... bleh.
