I haven't listened to Weird Al's last couple of CD's because I don't recognize the parodies.

(And it takes an effort to use the word "CD" instead of "album".)

I know with the last CD I didn't recognize any of the originals, either. I still like some of his music, but it's not the same as it used to be when I knew what he was parodying.

I'm in the same boat. All I listen to anymore is CD's, XM, and my MP3 player. Most of what's on the radio these days is crap.

The music kids listen to these days! (gurgh!)

I picked up 'Poodle Hat' when being asked to take things from the room of my friend who died in April. It has Billy Joel's Piano Man as a Spider Man song, pretty cool! Not knowing the songs doesn't really bother me as eventually I hear them and I like the comic content. Plus there's always the polka medley!
