Yeah, I like that one, too. I think for me, though, I'd extend it to where I can also honestly wish for good things to come to the person who'd hurt/offended me. If I can do that, there's truly no hard/hurtful feelings left on my part that I still have to carry. In that case, the hard/bad stuff on my end is all over with....and I'm not tied to anything bad going on with them.
They say forgiveness can't come with strings attached, but maybe that should go the other way too-- I can let go of my anger and move on, but I don't have to validate the perpetrator or agree to honor their "strings attached" apologies.
