Yeah, Mike and Tic Tac regularly play at a bar in Manhattan, KS called Auntie Mae's Parlor. I absolutely love 'em.

To give you an idea, I nearly went to Oklahoma to get my PhD just because it meant I could be at the Sunday shows at the Deli. :) Sadly, they didn't have a spot the year I was looking, or it would have been a tough choice.

Yeah the one in Campus Corner. Tic Tac's wife/girlfriend owns The Deli now, and Mike plays a one-man show there every Sunday. The Duo plays at least once a month there.

"Broken" almost made the cut on mine. It's Reznor's most consistently excellent release.

I never could figure out what the big deal was with this Hosty person y'all kept going on about back then. The bits and pieces I heard on that cd player never really did anything for me. Then again I never went to a live show either. Maybe they're one of those bands you have to see live.

Put simply, Tori Amos is metal.

Her cover of "Raining Blood" never fails to amaze me.

Hosty is absolutely a live band. Their albums are solid, but the real love comes from watching them completely destroy a room live.
