Picture a day starting 2/25/09

So me and a few friends have decided to do our own "biggest looser" but without the humiliation. I personally looked in a mirror at my profile recently and noticed that I have a very large hanging gut. another thing that really helps a lot is to keep a food diary. write down everything you eat and how many calories are in it. the typical person needs about 2,000 calories per day. its amazing how many amazing how many calories are in some little things. also, if you weigh and measure things, it gives you an idea of what portion sizes should really look like.
i know doing this is a real pain in the butt, but it does help a lot...especially when you kinda want something to snack on and thing "but if i eat that, i'll have to take the time to write it down and do math"
