Movie Review
Watched The Seventh Seal last night, a subtitled 1950's Swedish movie about god and death in the black plague. It's considered to be a classic and includes the much copied scene of someone playing chess with death for their life. I particularly liked it when Bill and Ted played Battleship and Twister with death.

Jury Duty
I had Jury Duty on Tuesday. Despite Mapquest turning 700 E. 7th street into 700e W. 7th Street, leading me to park about 7 or 8 blocks away and showing up right on the 9am dot, everything went well. They didn't start jury selection until 10am. I wasn't selected to be on the jury. I was off by one. The judge invited all the non-jury members to sit ( Read more... ) -
long strange weekend
- Friday, 1pm Austin time - Leave work for the day, pick up J at home, head for the airport.
- Friday, 3pm Austin time - Plane takes off.
- Friday, 7:30pm New Jersey time - Lands at Newark.
- Friday, 9:00pm NJ time - Arrive at my parents home. Have leftover chinese food, visit with parents and sister.
- Friday, midnight NJ time - Go to sleep.

Bowling
This weekend I'll be in a bowling tournament on our company team. I'm kind of excited but I'm not really expecting to win. I'm on the B team and only found out a couple of days before the event that I had qualified for it. This surprised me because I had a couple of 130's and a 75 for my qualifying games.
