Finally saw Interstellar. Beautiful possible Earths, I don't know but I teared up at that endless ocean with enormous waves and the final scene with the achingly beautiful sunset - amazing how vital water and the atmosphere is to life as we know it, and I loved that the film is every bit an inquiry on what happens to us as a race and as a planet, ( Read more... )

Another post 24-duty morning rolls by. You've interviewed patients all day, gone kilometers around the hospital, drawn vials and tubes of blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. And you try to think of what a word means - compassion. Then, helplessly, you feel warm tears falling.
