Thank you very much!
I'm glad it had the emotional punch I was aiming for and still managed to be in character.

I'm glad you liked the ♥ Moriarty, I love him the best when he's extra creepy!

(Possibly it's a bit not good to use this icon for something so powerfully angsty, but I certainly couldn't use my "Piglet clapping" icon, now could I?)

You liked it then? I must admit, I was rather worried as you paid for me!

And I loved Sherlock in this. It just seemed so Sherlock, everything about him; the way he rubbed John's back, kissed him, the way he said what he did.
Just a wonderfully angsty, somehow real piece that really packs a punch. I'll be keeping an eye out for more of your stories.

Wow, thank you so much for the lovely long comment!
I honestly believe that John is the sort of man who would blame himself for Bill's death, and blame himself hard and I don't think he'll every truly reach a point where he won't feel guilty, though Sherlock will try his best to make him understand.
While this story is equally about Sherlock and John's reaction to Bill's death, Sherlock's is much more understated until he isn't anymore. That he can be silent and supportive when John needs him to be, but knows what to say when he needs to as well. I like to think that when John really needs Sherlock - in an emotional sense - he can be.
Again, thank you! I'm very glad you enjoyed my first foray into non-relationship angst!
