Draft statement

Here's a little draft for the statement I need to email someone at Uni.

I have applied for the Film and Media course with the hope that it will open more doors for me such as in the Media industry. I attended the recent Uni open day and talk about the course and the course sounds like fun and one I would enjoy taking.
