Heh, getting gas is easy.

*laughing wildy at the vary sweet if directionally impaired girl*

You get home at 5:45 and have no time to do homework? I just got home, and I have plenty of time. Although I'll stay have to up until two.

Sorry, Ian, not all of us are quite as talented as you are. I mean, getting gas is a great accomplishment and all, (especially for me)but...

I can finish all my homework, but it means I'm worthless in class the next day because I'm too tired to think straight. Directional impairment and crooked thinking are a dangerous combination.

Oh, I talked to Dacey yesterday about the fact that you know her, and Eben overheard, and he definately knows who you are. He said "what? she's been going to willowbrook for 12 years, why wouldn't i know her?"

Thanks, it's good to know you're looking out for me, even when you're away at college. But weren't you listening? If I get gas an infinite number of times, I should be able to do it infinitely quickly, right?

okay, i'll agree with the exponential decay thingy, but there an asymptote. besides, doesn't a normal exponential increase instead of decrease? i think you want like a y=a(1/x)+b kinda thingy... yeah....

commander wise-ass logging off

o ya, i think you've won the tennis/ultimate frisbee war. K's not playing cause of bad knees, A's trying to do both tennis and track (which may or may not work), and there's no report on L and i haven't heard nething about C. for once, the disk beats the raquet. (bows in respect and walks away)

Why if it isn't.... doodlebuglz December 13 2004, 18:51:01 UTC
Hey Justin!
I think exponential decay is when something gets smaller (decays) at an exponential rate.

Obviously there would be an asymptote at some point... but that was the point. Who needs asymptotes anyway? ::ducks hurriedly as Joan Piper and Cath Okabayashi walk by::

In conclusion, I think that your comment could be very strong and convincing, but I suggest you change your second to last sentence from "for once, the disk beats the racket"(McCallum 1) to "As usual, the disk beats the racket into the ground" (however, I do like the part about bowing in respect)I would be happy to peer review...er comment... on the subject of rackets and disks at further length if you have any questions.(skips off singing because she saw something shiny)

well, excuse me greenbloodnight December 13 2004, 19:32:42 UTC
hehe, i think i'm going blind, i completely missed the DECAY part, and i read the thing like 3 times...

and, ahem, "As usual, the disk beats the racket into the ground" (Thompson 1)? how often do you see a person drop a raquet when a frisbee is thrown at them? doesn't the person with the raquet usually just smack the frisbee away? (hey, we should try that sometime, tennis with a frisbee, it's so crazy, it may just work.... hehe, ya right)

ya, have fun chasing shiny objects, just make sure that they don't turn on u.
