Brigandry is a cool word.

People don't say brigand enough, either. Think how much more dashing speech (and the news) would sound if brigand became a part of everyday vocabulary again.

Guess who finally managed to whip her journal archives into submission? Why yes, that would be me. A lot of good, family-type ASCII characters lost their lives in the process, though. Please, a moment of silence while we remember their sacrifice.

I'm currently fighting with my journal archives (which really have never worked properly), so apologies for the pools of blood and severed limbs--and try not to slip on the eyeballs.

Well, while I'm pleased to say that searching for 'compleat alice' on Yahoo and Google returns this site second on the list (it's a pretty obscure search string, let's face it), I'm not so pleased to discover that the rest of the matches (for at least the first couple of pages of results) are for a Marvel comic called 'The Compleat Alice Cooper' ( Read more... )

I almost started with 'Bleh.' again. I just spent the entire day (at least most of it) finishing the pencilling and inking the entire page. I really don't intend to time myself, but it seems to take about as much time as CG coloring, albeit much less daunting and much more satisfying. I am a pen-n-ink girl at heart, after all. **In hindsight, C1-05 may not be as clear as I had intended... it looked fine to me yesterday, but this morning I'm not so sure. To clarify: that old guy (you'll find out about him later) is the source of the blinding light. Um. Did some site updating... keep posted for a new look to the site (no more brown!) sometime in the next week or two. I went back and sorta fixed C1-05... it looks better, although still not quite what I wanted. Ah well, c'est la vie.
