I find it odd that whenever I'm engaged in a religion discussion with someone who is religious, at some point in the conversation I always hear the question, "Who did this to you". Every kid loves hitting that next birthday. Becoming one whole year older, even if it's only by a day. Gaining some of that fabled trust and responsibility from his or her parental units.
