Attended my friends Joeseph and Erin's wedding on saturday. It's funny, because I remember when Joe used to get so nervous around Erin, and now they're married. They're both wonderful people and very lucky to have each other. I don't really use the term much, but I love both of them a bunch and it's just all around great.

No Country For Old Men was alright. I finally got around to seeing it last night, and while I enjoyed it, I certainly wouldn't call it an instant classic. It felt like I'd seen it all done before. In just about every Western movie ever. I still give Lebowski the nod for the Cohen's best work.

Got to see Iron Man the other night & I  was suprised at how good it was. It was a lot better than most recent movies made. I'd put it right behind the Tim Burton Batman movies in terms of best comic book movies. There wasn't any hokey "This is based on a comic book so let's give a wink and a nudge to the audience every now & again by referencing ( Read more... )

Over the weekend, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It has metasticized (spread) to his hip bone and subsequently his bone marrow. It doesn't get any easier to swallow each time I say/write/speak/think it. I know we're all born with an expiration date, but I never really thought so much as to how my parents will die.
