go greg, it's your birthday!

or, as we sing au quebec:

cher-er-er greg,
c'est a ton tour
de te laiser parler d'amour!

(you must sing this to the tune of the separatist anthem by gilles vingeault, "gens du pays")
how bizare...

oh, and where did you come up with that birthday song??!! Did that come out of your brain?

at any rate
happy birthday!!!!

Thanks!

The ever-helpful Babelfish translated your song to: "c'est has your turn laiser to speak d'amour to you". My rusty grade-11 french skills translate it to "It's your turn to speak of love"? But I'm not sure what 'laiser' means (I thought it meant 'leave').

Yup, I thunked up the song myself. Melanie and I started it this morning when I found out it was also John Tesh's birthday.

Jesus. That was... brilliant. Did you spend all day working on it, or did it just pop out of your brain in one shot?

I don't, however, believe the Manx actually sells 40s. But that's just a minor detail.

Took me about an hour to formulate. Smits, Dennehy, & Rumsfeld were the hardest... when I hit on the "cock/Iraq" rhyme I knew I'd struck gold.
