Today was a swell day. I had the day off, so I went by Kayo and picked up my 3 weeks backpay. Talked to one of the owners, Maria, for a while and played with her dog Beatrice. After that I walked over to Payless Shoes on Market St., and on the way got a phonecall from Moe, who was panic-stricken over almost being forced to go sailing around ( Read more... )

Yeah, not all m days are lousy, despite the way I drone on.. there's nothing better than not expecting some fun and having it suddenly show up! :)

Totally Dood. Right now, I'm thinking of having Kogar over the words "Kogar - Scorched" on the front and "Thankyou" on the back. Not sure if he'll be holding anything. I'm trying to keep it simple and prevent the plaster from chipping. So I may need a real hunched over pose. Just wanna make sure I get 'em done on time..

Thanks again for saving me from my panic attack yesterday. You really helped me out. It was nice hanging out at Lefty O'Douls in the middle of a Wednesday - much better than freaking out on a boat! And it was nice chatting with Maria in Kayo and getting those swell books. You were a real life-saver, Rob.

Oh, yeah, you and Andrew always have an open invitation to any kind a jamboree that is cookin'! It's actually gonna be over at the 4th St Tavern on Sunday, October 9th - I think from 6-8ish.. you guys should totally try and make - bring the doggies!

Very nifty day indeed! Nothing like a great day off in the middle of the week, especially when adventures, friends, and back-pay are included in the mix. The Parkway rocks! That was the first theater I went to when I first moved here. Good luck with the trophies.

Thanks. Yeah, I really like the vibe there. Unpretentious & fun. Great raffles and a real community feel. The people that run the place seem like real nice people.
