B of A

I ordered new checks from Bank of America today. The old ones, from when I lived in Point Richmond, had the incorrect city and name and read:

"Robley Brownw
3 W Richmond Ave
Paint Richmond, Ca
94801"

Bank of America now charges $12 for new checks.

Har! The irony is, they'd fucked up my checks BEFORE the "Paint Richmond" ones TOO. I've had to pay $24 dollars now and I still have no checks. B of A is just evil. Think I'm gonna switch to Washington Mutual...

Yeah - at least at WaMu there are no fees and the checks are not only cheap - but your shit is spelled correctly and they don't charge you several times if by some chance they do fuck it up.

Hahah -- actually, it was this jacked up brick roominghouse, RIGHT next to the railroad tracks. Whenever a train passed, the whole building would quiver and shake. It was conveniently close to Devil's Triangle, which is a great park to pick up drugs and then get knifed. (I had to cut through there everyday on the way to Bart) Living in a roominghouse is totally surreal. I had to listen to the lady next to me beat her kid every night (I called C.P.S -- useless) and the crackwhore next to me turn tricks every night. Also, I saw one old hillbilly pull a gun on his son to get his hot plate back. That was kinda cool. Good times.

Well, I would presume the train-induced building quivering and shaking would behoove the turning of tricks, or if you ever had a girl over. I remember you mentioning some of that -- good times indeed. :)

Where do live at now? I imagine you miss being near a park like Devil's Triangle. The convenience of obtaining drugs and being knifed, all in one location! :) Perhaps I should look at that neighborhood if I move.....

I'm over near Golden Gate Park, at Baker and McAllister st.. I've lived in SF for the past 6 years, I just had to move over to the east bay for six months to pull my money together. I actually like the east bay a lot though. Mama's Royal Cafe, The Parkway Theater.. there's lotsa cool stuff over there!
