Seriously.  Click it.

That's what the world looks like to me.  Except my snow dances and makes shapes.  My vision has always been like that.  I just assumed that everyone saw the snow.  Didn't start really thinking about it until the past week.

oh wow. it's almost like you're living in an old grainy movie.
so, can it be treated then?
will you ever be able to play the piano again?!

No real treatment. There are some drugs that might or might not help. At this point, it's impossible to really even know what's causing it for me- I'd probably be tossed to one specialist after another.

Imagine having this, and also being completely colorblind. Walking around in a grainy, black and white movie. How fun would that be?

I might even be able to play the piano better!

My vision was/is very slightly like that. This picture is like how I saw things when I was a kid, except with colorful snow. I got really worried about it back then, but my eyedoctor really didnt know what to say, and didnt do anything because my eyes were fully functional, regardless. Back then I decided to just ignore it, and somehow that made it go away... at least, that's my only explaination. Now, if I want to, I realize that I still see it (to a much lesser extent than this image).
My hypothesis has always been that I must be able to see the light bouncing off the surface of things as light rather than as merely flat color.
