Hmph. Sarcasm aside, there was no way V.'s operation could have produced any significant result. He knew my opinion of it.

A leader should not be afraid to put himself in danger, but neither should he provoke it so easily. Under normal circumstances he'd be completely out of the picture and all those who depended on him or trusted his insights would be left with nothing.
